Mission

  • To partner with faculty to create equitable and effective online learning experiences for public health professionals at every stage of their career

Core Functions

  • Develop new, online, and hybrid educational programs
  • Provide training, support and resources for online learning excellence at the Mailman School
  • Collaborate across departments and units to provide online learning resources for faculty and consistent online learning experiences for students

What We Do

  • Provide full-cycle online course design and development support for courses in an approved new online or hybrid educational program pipeline
  • Steward development of ideas, proposals and project plans for new, hybrid or online course, programs or certificates
  • Provide consultation, training, resources and templates to faculty and TAs for online course design, development, facilitation and evaluation
  • Partner with Mailman IT for technology support of online learning
  • Partner with Departments for online learning support workflows, models and resource allocation
  • Partner with Office of Educational Initiatives for online course and program evaluation
