NIH Sexual & Gender Minority (SGM) Research Symposium

September 17, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. ET

The Sexual & Gender Minority Research Office is excited to announce the first-ever NIH Sexual & Gender Minority (SGM) Research Symposium! This symposium, which will be held on September 17, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. ET, will mark the 5th anniversary of the creation of the SGMRO and will also include the 2020 NIH SGM Research Investigator Awards Program. The symposium will highlight scientific lectures from the NIH Intramural Research Program, SGM Administrative Supplement grantees, and the 2020 awardees of the NIH SGM Research Investigator Awards.

2020 College on Problems of Drug Dependence (CPDD) Annual Meeting

June 20-24, 2020

Description: The College on Problems of Drug Dependence (CPDD) has been in existence since 1929 and is the longest standing group in the United States addressing problems of drug dependence and abuse. The goal of the annual scientific meeting of the CPDD is to present and disseminate information about ongoing research in the biomedical, behavioral, and social sciences. It brings together basic scientists and clinical investigators from academia, government, and industry. The meeting will contain a balanced mix among state-of-the-art symposia, special lectures, workshops, oral presentations, and poster sessions, all designed to present the latest research findings related to drugs of abuse and drug dependence.
