The Laboratory of Precision Environmental Health at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health invites highly motivated candidates to apply to join our team!

The lab is led by Dr. Howie Wu. Dr. Wu is an environmental epidemiologist with a focus on reproductive, pulmonary, and neuropsychological health, and an Assistant Professor of Environmental Health Sciences in the Mailman School of Public Health. The lab has both “wet” and “dry” lab components and is made up of postdoctoral scientists, doctoral students, visiting scientists, and staff members alike. We are a diverse group with a range of backgrounds. The laboratory currently investigates the molecular mechanisms and biomarkers that reflect the reprogramming of health and disease trajectories in response to environmental exposures. The laboratory research activities are specifically focused on epigenetics (DNA methylation, non-coding microRNAs), extracellular vesicle communication, and environmental mitochondriomics.
