Research
We have a number of active projects in the lab. We are conducting investigations of environmental programming of fetal growth and childhood obesity in the United States and Mexico. We have ongoing projects investigating the interactions linking environment, epigenetics and cardiovascular disease risk. Our studies also include mitochondriomics and molecular investigations of respiratory disease and cognitive aging. We are also currently focusing much of our energy into small non-coding RNAs.
