The Global Consortium on Climate and Health Education is hosted by the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and receives guidance and direction from an international Advisory Council and Coordinating Committee.
The Mailman School is home to the nation’s first program in climate and health in a school of public health. Mailman School faculty members Dr. Jeffrey Shaman and Dr. Kim Knowlton lead the GCCHE. Dr. Shaman is Associate Professor of Environmental Health Sciences and Director of the Mailman School’s Climate and Health Program. Dr. Knowlton is Assistant Professor in the Climate and Health Program. Brittany Shea is the GCCHE Project Director and oversees the day-to-day activities of the GCCHE in close collaboration with Drs. Knowlton and Shaman.
