Our Projects

Columbia Urban Health researchers partner with local and global stakeholders who work toward improving the health of the millions of people living in cities and informal communities. Our goal is to develop organizational ties with the potential to enhance collaborative communication among research, design, and policy professionals, as well as with communities themselves. The simple idea is to find the audience first, in order to maximize the relevance of our efforts to the health challenges we hope to address. As we learn about the knowledge gaps, we would work to find or create actionable, local information.
