The Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) has resulted in over 31,000 cases of the disease with more than 600 deaths to date. A total of 25 countries have been affected around the world. This global outbreak raises many questions:
Where did the virus come from?
How is it transmitted? And what can people to protect themselves?
What is the possible trajectory of this outbreak?
What are the political, societal, ethical and clinical implications?
Our panel of distinguished Mailman School faculty and researchers will share expertise on the disease and the spread of the outbreak, forecasting of the epidemic, current health systems response, and ethical dilemmas related to the crisis. Please join us for important discussions that bring interdisciplinary insight and action to address this global health emergency.
