Srikesh Arunajadai, PhD, focuses on statistical applications in solving problems in Biology, with particular emphasis in Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, Biophysics, Systems Biology, and Bioengineering. His statistical research interests include time series, point processes, spatio-temporal processes, and modeling of various dynamic systems, most recently in applications in Anesthesiology and Environmental Health Sciences. Prior to joining the Mailman School, Dr. Arunajadai worked on the identification of neurobiological systems at the University of California, Berkeley and developed a statistical framework for the conditioning test pulse paradigm. He also worked on the modeling of the unwinding of double-stranded RNA by NS3 Helicase enzyme. Dr. Arunajadai received the Evelyn Fix Memorial Medal and Citation, awarded to the PhD student on the Berkeley campus showing the greatest promise in statistical research, with preference for applications to biology and problems of health.
