The Department of Epidemiology at Columbia University is committed to producing world-class science with real-world impact while training the next generation of epidemiologists to improve the health and lives of communities around the world.
Our more than 150 faculty members conduct scientific research in more than 60 countries, publish nearly 1,000 scholarly articles each year, and provide expertise as part of the department's various research units:
Graduates of our programs are in high demand. Ninety-five percent of Columbia epidemiology graduates are employed at least part-time or pursuing additional education six months after earning their degrees.
