Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Mailman School of Public Health Office of Faculty Affairs and Human Resources to advance the overall mission of the School by supporting and providing superior service to the departments, centers, and dean’s office units in their efforts to recruit, retain, and develop faculty and staff. We will provide leadership and guidance in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, thus fostering a positive work environment. We will further assist and support our faculty and staff and by modeling and inspiring values of integrity, trust, responsiveness, excellence, and teamwork.

We aim to achieve our mission through continuous process improvement, maintaining collaborative relationships with CUMC Faculty Affairs, Human Resources, Payroll, Provost and other University central offices, and an ongoing development of our own repertoire of knowledge and skills.
