Announcement regarding post-doctoral fellowship openings starting in 2023

Who Should Apply for a Substance Abuse Epidemiology Training Program (SAETP) Fellowship?

SAETP is accepting applicants for post-doctoral fellowships to begin July 1, 2023. Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • A PhD, DrPH, or MD
  • A record of academic and professional excellence
  • Commitment to a career in substance abuse epidemiology
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent U.S. residency

Application Process

Applications to the SAETP post-doctoral fellowship will close on December 1, 2022. To apply, please fill out the downloadable application and email it to Eric Halperin at eh2549@cumc.columbia.edu.

The earliest date for funding is July 1st, 2023.

Stipends

Stipends for post-doctoral programs are set by the National Institutes of Health. You can view the most up-to-date information on these stipends on their website.

Fellows typically receive a modest travel allowance, contingent upon the budget, to facilitate attendance at professional meetings outside of New York City. The program also provides health coverage for trainees through the University’s Student Health System.
