Domestic Internship Funding

The Domestic Internship Program encourages and enables Mailman students to accept prestigious, but less-remunerative, summer internships with governmental agencies (e.g. CDC, NCI, etc.).

Since the summer of 2002, the program has supported internships at organizations that include:

  • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
  • Idaho Commission on Aging
  • Indian Health Service
  • MCH Program of Los Angeles County
  • National Cancer Institute
  • NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene
  • NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation
  • NYC Human Resources Administration - Mayor’s Office of Citywide Health Insurance Access
  • NYC Mayor’s Office of Combat Domestic Violence
  • NYS Psychiatric Institute
  • UNFPA
  • UNICEF
  • U.S. Department of State
  • World Health Organization
  • The Offices of Senators Hillary Clinton (NY), Joseph Vitale (NJ), and Sheldon Whitehouse (RI)
