Mission
'Ohana is a Hawai‘ian word for family and the Hawai‘ian culture is known for fostering a strong sense of ‘ohana whether on the islands or not.
Hui ‘O Hawai‘i (HOH) was started to create a sense of ‘ohana between Mailman students and the greater Mailman community, whether they are native Hawai‘ian or simply have a strong sense of connection with the culture, through culturally competent events and activities that promote healthy lifestyles, the ohana way.
