Joining a Community of Leaders

As a graduate of the Mailman School, students join an international network of alumni who share a common interest and dedication to improving the health and well-being of populations around the globe. Graduates of the School use their expertise and knowledge to positively impact the lives of millions.

Mailman School alumni move on to leadership positions in all aspects of public health, whether conducting research on immigrant child health in Laredo, Texas; developing health policy for the Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C.; working for a nongovernmental organization addressing HIV/AIDS issues and challenges in Capetown, South Africa; or developing a system to deliver fertilizer loans to thousands of households in Rwanda.

Some of our many outstanding alumni include: Thomas Frieden, Sybil Eng, Thomas Campbell Jackson, Ariel Pablo-Mendez and Josh Ruxin.
