Our Faculty

Reflecting its ongoing commitment to premier academics and innovation in the classroom, the Mailman School recently instituted the Teachnology Fellows program. The purpose of the cohort-based program is to foster and encourage effective and creative approaches to public health education. 

Fellows participate in semi-monthly meetings, receive ongoing support, and collaborate with colleagues. The program thus helps enable participating faculty to expand their teaching repertoire, providing the opportunity to refine existing practices, explore new teaching modalities, and experiment with technology that supports exceptional learning outcomes. 

Inaugural Class

In its inaugural year, the Teachnology program elicited a strong faculty response with a significant number of high quality applications. The 2010 fellows represent faculty members from across the School’s academic departments and centers, each of whom has been recognized for her of his deep commitment to experiments in teaching and learning, and a willingness to incorporate student feedback into their ongoing process of instructional innovation.
