Ebola Update For Travelers From Mali

A sign of hope in West Africa’s ongoing struggle with Ebola is yesterday's decision to remove travelers from Mali from the list of those requiring special screening upon entering the United States. Though entry from the three most severely affected nations of Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone still requires monitoring for signs of Ebola, the U.S. Homeland Security Department and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have jointly determined that starting today, incoming visitors from Mali pose no risk.
