The National Institutes of Health (NIH), part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is the primary federal funding agency for biomedical (including public health) research.

Current and Future Funding Opportunities at NIH

Results can be sorted by the following: announcement number, related announcements, issuing organization, release date, opening date, expiration date, activity code(s), or title. The database of current funding opportunities can also be searched by keyword.

NIH RePORT
The NIH RePORT (Research Portfolio Online Reporting Tool) website offers a repository of reports, data, and analyses of past and present NIH research activities, as well as several tools to perform database searches. Visit the RePORT website. RePORT also enables users to access the following items:
NIH RePORTER (RePORT Expenditures and Results)
RePORTER is an electronic tool within the NIH RePORT system that enables database searches of NIH-funded research projects. Use RePORTER to access project information (including abstracts), as well as information about research funded by other government agencies, including:
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC);
Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ);
Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA);
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA);
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA);
