Server Support Guidelines and Requirements
Any group at the School that has its own servers is required to do the following:
- Register its servers with CUMC IT Security, noting if the system contains/will contain sensitive data. Security will assess the system, make recommendations as needed to make the system more secure, and certify it "approved" for network access.
- Identify the "system custodian" and "system administrator" for the group and ensure that they:

- Follow the University recommendations for secure server support.
