The Mailman School of Public Health is hosting the Institute on Systems Science and Health (ISSH 2010) from June 13-18. The Institute, funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control, aims to provide training on a selected set of systems science methodologies that may be used to study behavioral and social dimensions of current public health challenges. A series of five plenary talks will be open to the entire Mailman School community. This is an excellent opportunity to get a feel for what the systems science approach to health is all about.
The plenary talks are geared towards investigators, at any stage of their career, who have an interest in but little or no formal training in systems science. Each talk will take place in the Mailman School Auditorium (8th FL. Rosenfield Building).
