Hannah Rosenzweig, MPH '05 Founder of Intention Media Inc.

Hannah Rosenzweig, MPH ‘05 is a documentary filmmaker and producer.  Hannah believes video can be a powerful tool for engaging audiences and building community around public health issues.  In 2006, she founded Intention Media Inc, a company that produces media for non-profit organizations and political campaigns.  Intention Media’s clients include the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Human Rights First, Health Alliance International, Web Lab, and the Clinton Foundation, among others.  Hannah worked with Hillary Clinton’s campaign for president and continues to produce video for other Democratic races.  Her television work includes films for PBS, the History Channel, and the Sundance Channel.  She is currently producing two independent documentaries – one about malaria and climate change and the other about an innovative children’s health foundation in Italy. 

 

Before film, Hannah worked as a researcher and community health worker.  Her focus was HIV/AIDS.  She was a research associate at the Urban Health Study, University of California, San Francisco and the California Department of Health Services.  Hannah holds a Masters Degree in Public Health (MPH) in Socio-Medical Sciences from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and a BA in History from Oberlin College.
