2010 Alumni Summit for Public Health Leadership, Columbia University Medical Campus

Thank you for joining us at the 2nd Annual Alumni Summit for Public Health Leadership. Over 200 alumni and several faculty members participated in the event held on June 8, 2010 at the Mailman School of Public Health.

Program Roundup

The keynote program on the effectiveness of public health messaging featured a panel discussion comprised of Mailman School alumni and experts in the field. The panel was moderated by Sree Sreenivasan, professor and dean of student affairs at Columbia University’s School of Journalism. The day’s events, which included interdisciplinary skill-building sessions and a Career Services open house concluded with a reunion dinner and presentation of the Allan Rosenfield Alumni Award for Excellence to James T. Harden, MBA’78, MPH’83, president and CEO of Catholic Health Services of Long Island. Special recognition was given to alumni celebrating their 5th, 10th and 25th year anniversaries.
