Finding a Practicum

There are many ways to find prospective practica.

The Mailman eRecruiting, the Career Services search engine can be accessed here.
The Office of Career Services also distributes announcements regarding featured internship opportunities every Friday during the academic year via listserv.
A list of previous students’ practica sites are available here.
Hard copies of previous students’ practicum summary reports are also available on the 5th floor of the Rosenfield Building underneath the departmental mailboxes.
Occasionally, email announcements of available practica are sent to the student listserv.
Students may also discuss practicum options with their advisors or the Practicum Director, Lourdes Hernandez-Cordero. She is available by appointment or during orientation meetings.
Students should consider discussing the timing and general goals for their practica with their advisors during their first semester.
