The Department’s wide-ranging portfolio is united by three, inextricably-linked key principles: service, research, and practice. Addressing issues with implications far beyond the localities where specific research is conducted, our work contributes to and benefits from the communities we serve, informing practitioners and policy-makers at many levels. From childhood asthma prevention and treatment programs in Washington Heights to HIV/AIDS research in Uganda, the Department’s research contributes to developing evidence-based policy and practice.
Focuses on displaced and at-risk children in areas of conflict.
Provides complete healthcare services for males in Washington Heights ages 14 to 30.
