Prospective students applying to the Departments of Biostatistics, Environmental Health Sciences, Epidemiology, Health Policy and Management, Population and Family Health, and Sociomedical Sciences may choose to be considered for the Global Health Track. The Mailman School application deadline for fall is early January of the same year. Global Health Track admission decisions will be mailed in late March and early April for the fall semester only. The Track does not accept new students for the spring semester. Admission to the Global Health Track is competitive. For this reason, applicants are urged strongly to indicate a second choice department or track.
Eligibility: Entry into the Global Health Track is gained through application to one of six departments — Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Environmental Health Sciences, Health Policy and Management, Population and Family Health or Sociomedical Sciences. Please note carefully the admissions criteria of the department you wish to enter. The Global Health Track is open to both international students and U.S. citizens who demonstrate a strong commitment to global health and excellent academic and work credentials. The track, however, is not open to students interested in pursuing a dual degree with any other school at the University.
For more information on the Global Health Track please see our FAQs. Please visit the School’s admission pages for application deadlines and to apply online.
