The mission of the Columbia Climate and Health Program (CCHP) is to foster innovative, cross-disciplinary, translational scholarship on the human health dimensions of climate change. Our goal is to advance society’s capacity to understand, anticipate, and prevent adverse health consequences.
The first randomized trial to study the health effects of biomass emissions is underway in rural Ghana.
Meet CCHP director Pat Kinney, ScD, and learn about the program’s current research projects.
