Students in the Molecular Toxicology Track are expected to take relevant biology courses that will prepare them for their laboratory-based thesis work. Students take a full year of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the same courses taught to all graduate students in the Medical School. Fewer courses are required than in the Molecular Epidemiology Track, but students spend more time developing skills in laboratory techniques.
