To date, more than 43 MPH and 5 PhD degrees have been awarded to students studying the history and ethics of public health at the Center. Alumni from the History and Ethics program have been employed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, New York City Department of Health, California Department of Public Health, New York State Office of Mental Health, Institute for the Study of Aging, Open Society Institute, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the International Center for AIDS Care and Treatment.
Training the next generation of critical thinkers in the field of public health is a vital part of the Center's mission. With your help, we can secure the future of master’s and doctoral-level students in our program. Your contributions will help fund tuition, stipends, and dissertation research, ensuring a future for bright and upcoming scholars of history and ethics, as well as for future generations of practitioners in public health, law, and medicine.
