Since the Center’s founding in 2002, our faculty have demonstrated their impact in the policy arena by working with such organizations as the Institute of Medicine, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and various health departments and city and state governments. The work of the Center's faculty has been integral in creating domestic and international guidelines on HIV and TB pandemics, litigating lead abatement, and helping frame the national debate about Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination.
Led by co-directors Dr. David Rosner and Dr. Ronald Bayer, the Center looks forward to continuing to work at the forefront of engaged scholarship and public health advocacy.
