Dr. Fullilove is associate dean for Minority and Community Affairsand professor of Clinical Public Health in Sociomedical Sciences at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health. His work reflects a long association with and a concern for the problems of communities of color in the United States.
Together with Dr. Mindy Fullilove, Robert Fullilove has conducted a series of studies examining disturbances in community life and their impact in general and violent behaviors in particular. Dr. Fullilove is senior advisor for the CCYVP’s Community Response and Training arms. He is principal investigator on one of the CDC funded CCYVP studies, "Incarceration and Concentration Effects in New York City."
