The Global Health Track (GHT) is an interdisciplinary program at the Mailman School of Public Health available to applicants to the departments of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Environmental Health Sciences, Health Policy and Management, Population and Family Health, or Sociomedical Sciences.
The track is intended to meet the needs of students who are interested in both the theory and the practice of global health and who are committed to becoming practitioners within their areas of primary public health interest.
Biostatistics students in the GHT gain an orientation to biostatistical methods within global health settings, including a six-month overseas practicum. They must also fulfill all of the course requirements for a master of public health degree in biostatistics.
